Claire Schuh

MSW, CAPSW

Claire holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. She then graduated with a master’s degree in clinical social work. Claire has the credentials as a Certified Advanced Practice Social Worker while working towards obtaining her license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Her passion grew through her internship at the Bellin Psychiatric Center in the adult intensive outpatient unit drawing on techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy.

Claire has experience in working with individuals with differing abilities from her work with Soar Fox Cities and has experience working with children on the autism spectrum. Claire’s therapeutic approach is starting where the client is to assure the client’s needs and individuality is valued. Claire believes that collaboration is important in the treatment of eating disorders. She is trained in motivational interviewing and has a particular interest in cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy.

Claire enjoys hiking, camping, watching live music, and cooking!
