Case Manager/Community Counselor

Cassandra started her undergrad studies at Carroll University and went on to graduate from Lakeland University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology in May 2022. Cassandra has years of experience working in a psychology department at a State Correctional Facility, as well as a County Mental Health Department as a Crisis Counselor. Before coming to Evolve Healing, Cassandra worked for a Community Health Center doing outreach and advocacy for students and their families in the local middle schools and high schools. She did case management with students to help connect them to health care services as well as other community resources. Cassandra also created, implemented, and facilitated mental health and life skills education groups for the alternative high schools that had a positive psychology and holistic approach.

Cassandra has a unique style of counseling and case management. She wants to encompass the holistic (mind, body, and spirit) as well as make sure her clients play an active role in their own individualized healing journey. Cassandra encourages embracing the strength and bliss of one’s inner child, mindfulness, life skills, and daily practice of self-love and self-care.

In her free-time Cassandra loves to spend quality time with her blended family which can include spending time in nature like gardening, hiking, finding new trails, kayaking, camping, and chasing waterfalls. She also enjoys yoga, dancing, art, movie nights, and finding new experiences.
