Tad Taggart

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Tad earned his first Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Carroll University and his second Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay. He then completed a year-long dietetic internship program with a leadership emphasis at the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay.

Throughout his schooling, Tad was also an active ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, working with a variety of clients with various skillsets, backgrounds, and needs. His passion for health and fitness grew during his time training and studying nutrition. It was also during this time that he came to learn the dangerous and pervasive influence of diet-culture. He found that many people’s perceptions of health were distorted by social standards and messaging, and many people were not finding true health and happiness as a result of these misleading messages. One part of Tad’s internship landed him at Evolve for a short period. Here, he found that helping others heal disordered relationships with food was something he definitely wanted to pursue. Now, Tad is incredibly grateful to be part of the Evolve team, as it allows him to fulfill his passion of helping others to live out a healthier and happier life.

Tad’s nutrition philosophy is that food should nourish one’s health and one’s happiness. Tad lives out this philosophy by cooking and choosing foods that both taste delicious and fuel his body. He enjoys constantly seeking new and unique foods, growing a miniature garden in his raised beds, and cooking new and challenging recipes. Outside of food, Tad enjoys reading, hiking, boxing, and playing board games and video games with friends.
