Nicole Norcross

Masters of Social Work in Clinical Mental Healthcare

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Nicole graduated with her Masters of Social Work in Clinical Mental Healthcare from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 2019.

While in graduate school, Nicole interned at the Brown County Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Unit. There, she worked with clients on DBT and CBT skills. Nicole also gleaned experience with the diagnosis and treatment of various mental health concerns in adolescents, and invaluable skills as a clinician. After she completed her Master’s degree and became licensed as an Advanced Practice Social Worker, Nicole worked with children and families in rural Kewaunee County, Wisconsin.

Nicole believes that the most important piece of the therapeutic process is the relationship between clinician and client. Nicole has joined with all different types of people in her professional experiences-children with autism, adolescents with emotional-behavioral concerns, and parents struggling with trauma and addiction. She is trained in Trauma Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, and has a particular interest in CBT and DBT.
