Kirsten earned her degree in human biology and nutrition from the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay. She went on to complete her dietetic internship at the University of Houston with an emphasis in clinical and sports nutrition.
Past life events and involvement in sports fueled Kirsten’s desire to support individuals battling eating disorders. While in Houston, she volunteered as an eating disorder support group leader and found this rewarding experience to solidify her desire to work in this specialty. She focuses her work on healing relationships to both food and one’s body through individualized and collaborative treatment to rediscover one’s authentic self. Additionally, Kirsten practices a non-diet and Health At Every Size approach to dietetics and looks forward to continuing this philosophy at Evolve.
Outside of work, Kirsten enjoys coaching and playing soccer, cooking, painting and spending time with her family and friends.
Kirsten will be working towards becoming a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian and is excited to continue building her nutrition counseling skills.
