Jenna (she/they) is a mental health therapist whose goal is to meet their client where they are in their recovery journey with affirming support and guidance. They believe that every person is worthy of body liberation through unlearning systems of oppression that keep us in our adaptive selves and narratives.

Jenna received both their Bachelor’s Degree in Art Therapy and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from the University of Wisconsin- Superior. They have experience providing professional counseling services to college students including individual therapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention, as well as participating on an eating disorder multidisciplinary treatment team.

They have a particular passion for working with individuals that are experiencing an eating disorder, body image concerns, LGBTQIA2S+ gender/sexuality concerns, cultural identity development concerns, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, and emotional regulation concerns. Their therapeutic approach is rooted in building an affirming clinical rapport that is driven by trauma-informed, affirmative, strength-based, and integrative practices. Jenna uses Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to guide their work.

Outside of work, you can find Jenna connecting with nature, finding new fungi, painting, attending concerts, on a yoga mat, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
