Gail holds a Master of Science in Education in Professional Counseling from Concordia University. She also has experience working in PHP programs for eating disorder recovery and depression.
Gail places high value in creating an environment that feels safe to each individual. She strives to build strong rapport with clients in order to foster a therapeutic relationship in which they feel heard and supported. Gail appreciates that no two individuals are the same and views each person through a comprehensive lens. She has a special interest in working with individuals struggling with eating disorders/disordered eating, grief, depression, anxiety, and ADHD.
Gail primarily utilizes client-centered, CBT, DBT, schema therapy, and strength-based therapeutic approaches to provide trauma informed care. She is also trained in the use of exposure therapy for the treatment of eating disorders, general or social anxiety, and OCD. Outside of work, Gail enjoys going on walks, reading, spending time with friends and her two cats, Pearl and Petunia.
