Dr. Patterson is a licensed clinical psychologist and earned her Doctor of Psychology degree in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University. She also received her Masters of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Dr. Patterson completed both her graduate practicum and internships at The REDI Clinic, where she focused on the treatment of eating disorders and co-occurring mental illness. She has experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy. Dr. Patterson values the use of a multi-modal therapy approach to effectively address the specific needs of the client.

Dr. Patterson is passionate about helping individuals enhance personal well-being and overall mental health. She emphasizes the importance of a collaborative therapeutic relationship to promote change and growth. Dr. Patterson believes that by helping the client identify and process emotional, behavioral, and environmental barriers, the client will learn valuable skills to better cope with life stressors.

Dr. Patterson specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and also has experience working with anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. She has experience working in varying levels of care, including PHP, IOP, and outpatient. Dr. Patterson is a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors and currently holds both a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor credential as well. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her dogs, travel, and be outdoors.
