Here at Evolve, we primarily serve the eating disorder population. Alicia is passionate about being there for clients while they overcome their individual fears and anxieties around food. She finds it to be an irreplaceable experience to work with clients while they evolve and grow through their individualized recovery.
Beyond working with eating disorders, she has developed a strong interest for prenatal and postnatal nutrition. This is such an exciting yet emotional time in a woman’s life. Alicia loves being able to educate and empower women so they can take the best nutritional care of themselves and their child.
As a prenatal dietitian, Alicia works with expecting mothers to provide optimal nutrition care during the pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, and post-childbirth periods. She also work with new mothers on optimal nutrition for breastfeeding and post childbirth health and diet.
She is a firm believer in the HAES (Healthy at Every Size) movement and knows that you can achieve your nutritional goals without focusing on changing your weight. Alicia encourages expecting mothers to turn to her if they have been told or feel their weight isn’t ideal for a pregnancy, have a history of an eating disorder, have special dietary needs or food allergies, or may be low in vital nutrients. She wants to make sure you are prepared to give your baby the healthiest possible time in the womb and the vital nutrients both you and your baby need, while catering to your individual needs and preferences.
Alicia provides sensitive, personalized care, while using evidence based research to ensure you receive the best care possible.
Alicia is a firm believer that clients receive the best care when they have a team of practitioners. She gladly accepts referrals and will take the time to update your entire team because collaborative care is essential for optimal outcomes.
